Leigh Overland started his firm in 1980 after earning degrees from the New York Institute of Technology and The American University in Rome, Italy. His full-service firm includes a diverse architectural portfolio that ranges from custom homes, additions and renovations to religious, commercial and industrial buildings, retail stores and professional offices.
"Leigh’s" architectural firm, established in 1980, designs many project types with the majority being commercial, religious and residential projects, with over 40 projects a year managed concurrently. Communication between the architect, the clients, the consultants, and the builders is the key to good architecture.
“Leigh” has won several awards including the renovation for his own home by the Westport Historic Preservation Trust. ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover Home Edition asked him to be the architect for the CT home which aired October 14th, 2007. Leigh has been a leader in many civic and social organizations including being the youngest recipient to receive the B’nai Brith Youth Service Award. In addition, he’s donated his services and funds to countless non-profit organizations and has been published over 50 times in various newspapers and magazines.
